GOP VP candidate JD Vance said on Sunday morning news shows that Trump would absolutely veto any legislation that would ban abortion on a federal level. Trump also indicated such on his Truth Social media, and again supported women's reproductive rights for IVF and other fertility methods. He feels the states should have the final say over abortions, although earlier this year, he supported abortions up to 15 weeks; if the mother's life is in danger, or in cases or rape and incest.

My take: while I sense Trump is being truthful about these views, as he actually used to be a Democrat (look it up, it's true) I have no doubt he will change face if he's pressured by the Pro-Lifers or the Project 2025 folks to put their agenda in place on Day 1 of his Presidency or else lose precious far right votes.

Trump doesn't want to debate unless he can *make* the rules. Huh?, who would have guessed. I would think that would only hurt his credibility.
