There's a lot of collectors who would like to have that sign. It ought to go in our museum's archives.

@PeoriaIllinoisan : I have bricks salvaged from Warner Homes and the guys got me the numbers to make my current house number. I agree that the Taft sign belongs in the museum. It certainly marks a part of Peoria History.

For years I have pick-up for several housing. Pekin was far worse than most areas. The lack of one to go inspect. I would pick up appliances that were sitting outside and when I moved them the roaches were everywhere. Totally disgusting. Would make many puke. Taft homes we cleaner. Not saying the people were better.
