I'm not a fan of this law.
My previous car was light grey and had manual headlights. Knowing light grey was the most difficult to see on the road, I was in the habit of turning on my headlights whenever I drove.
Now, I have a car with auto headlights. They turn on for darkness or when I turn the wipers on. What I've noticed this week (due to this thread)... if I start the car when it is raining or somewhat dark outside, I recognize my headlights are on, so I do nothing. While driving, if it stops raining enough to turn the wipers off, my lights turn off, too.
And it's not as easy as turning it on and off each time, because far left is "Auto"
I suppose if this becomes a law, I'll have to buy the DRL module they made for the Canadian versions of my car.
