I need recommendation for a good digital scanner that is LOW cost. I am missing to much of what is happening and Eye in the Sky can't be left out of loop.

Whatever you do, stay away from the Uniden BCD436HP and the BCD536HP...Too hard to program and a pain to use. Probably why they stopped making them.

Make sure you get one that is P25 Phase II compatible.

@EyeintheSky : I know you're talking local, and that you're very involved with your neighborhood, yet in times of serious withdrawal, just tune in to the Chicago PD to get your "fix". HAHA! (But you already knew that!)
