I was thinking a nice dinner and Deadpool, But her mom will ruin dinner by calling over stupid crap, like how do i turn the water from hot to cold or whats a 4 letter word for dessert bread? And Terri broke my blood pumping muscle thingy by saying she doesn't want to see Deadpool.

I wait till the day after then go dumpster diving and bring the wife flowers.

Wife and I have tickets to ISU/Bradley basketball game in Normal. We'll be sitting with our 2 daughters, son-in-law, and younger daughter's boyfriend. That kind of family time doesn't happen very often. We'll all have dinner afterwards.

I asked my wife if she'd like to go to Sky Harbor or The Lariat for a nice dinner. She said do you really want to spend that kind of money? I said, would you rather just go to the Railhouse and she said sure. It's not fancy, but we both love the place and their massive beer selection!

Two years ago I set up a naked Valentines Olympics in our basement (winter games were going on then) Prizes/favors for the winner. Pinball, pool, darts,dice, bean bag toss, and some others. I'm more competitive than my wife - but she doesn't like to lose - so I flopped a few and had even MORE fun. Alas, Winter Olympics once every four years - so I'm still thinking

Mr. Crafty and I are going to try the Blacksmith Steakhouse in Washington for V-Day..anyone been there???? I am going to surprise him on Sat night with a special dinner..put the table in front of the fireplace...dip some strawberries in chocolate..drink some wine...play some Barry White..lol

@craftywoman Haven't been there, but have been to two events they catered and they were both pretty good.

23 years ago on Valentine's Day the guy I had a crush on went to Chicago to see Jesus Lizard and My Bloody Valentine while I stayed in DeKalb watching Hairball Willie at Otto's totally bummed. 23 years later that guy and I eat chocolate and fall asleep at 8...that's about all we can handle these days!
