@AverageJoe I was barely aware of the 1/2 time show so I don't. Either way, the NFL was mistaken in having her.

I watched the half time show & loved it. Thought the choreography, song list, costumes, sound & picture quality was top shelf. I even posted on Social media what a fabulous show it was. Only afterwards did I realize how controversial it was. Oops.

They would of noticed if she went out wearing white hood and gown. Its alright for blacks to be proud.

@tntrecycling It's alright for all of us to be proud. But, Her hatred toward law enforcement and other races showed, just as much as a former Peorian named Matt Hale, Look where it got him. And, she had a national stage! SMH! The NFL knew what her show was about and allowed it. Will there be any fallout? NO! Why? $$$$$$.$$.Her music SUCKS! Next year I want Bob Seger!!!

I know Matt Hale and his brothers. His father Russ Hale was one of the best Police officers of his time. There is a difference Lies is why Matt is locked up. If we're talking about lyrics, let's not forget waaaay back in the '70s with Elton John's hit "The ***** is Back". And yes, the radio stations aired it without censoring that word. (Well, they could have bleeped it)Jump to the 21st Century with P.O.D.'s "She ****ing Hates Me", and Buckcherry's "Crazy *****" with the lyric "She's a Crazy ***** but she ***** so good, I dream of doing her all night. ". The radio versions have those words almost edited out completely, though.Cheap Trick's "If you want my love, you got it" doesn't sound sexual, in my opinion.

@DennisinPeoria None of those songs were done at the Superbowl. Remember the good ol days when everyone freaked out about a tit popping out. I liked it. However when you pay tribute to a hate group it tends to irritate a few people. Are you really defending paying tribute to a hate group? Come to the middle with me Dennis its better here.

@meanjarhead I watched the Super Bowl halftime show as well. I never saw anything that looked like Beyonce and her group idolizing the Black Panthers. Hell, their outfits were skimpy enough, didn't even resemble usual BP uniforms. Plus, I couldn't understand any of the vocals with the crowd noise, instrumentals, even when Cold Play was performing. Just my opinion, no more, no less.
