Not a good week for me either! Foot slipped on a step, and holding a hand rail is not a lot of protection against rapid forward movement. Ended up in ER then admitted to OSF. Fractured left hip and elbow. Fortunately, neither need surgery. The walker and I are getting along OK, but getting up from a seated position is the hard part. Was in the hospital from Thursday til Saturday evening. glad we have a great crew at the pantry. They are handling it just fine. I just don't like being slowed down. Can't drive until given the OK after I see the orthopedic folks and they say I can. Have plenty of offers for help, but I am used to doing things myself!
