It has been playing until a few days ago. It's gone out before inexplicably. Maybe it just went out for a while again. Maybe someone forgot to pay the utility bill.

CJ posted a while ago (maybe on the other site) how stations had to broadcast something every so often to retain their FCC license even when the station was effectively idle.

Apparently, there is some information about this buried deep on the FCC website or some related website. Long story short, or so it seems, the station has been in some kind of upheaval, changes and other things for a few years now. Sounds like they can't figure out which direction they want to go. In some online articles it gives a Florida address with a Peoria phone number The phone number listed has been disconnected.
