I'm still trying to figure out how Matthews and Brannon can personally sue the city. The city lent their business the $$, not them personally. They PERSONALLY are detached as it was their incorporation that may or may not have been injured by the city. That is why you separate yourself from a business so you can not be sued for failed businesses, etc. If the city should lose the personal lawsuit that would open the door for precedent to sue them personally for all the money the city lent THEM. But then again, I'm not a lawyer nor do I play one on TV. But I did get a good night sleep at a Holiday Inn while saying money on car insurance through Geico.
