Well she should of ran for President. Everything would of been better.

Well I see its not right to do what she did how many people get to be on stage and have millions watching. Why don't we give everyone the same opportunity.

When half the country gets sick of these rants on award shows and the ratings start to drop and TV commercial/sponsor money decline, maybe the powers who are will put a smack down on this BS. I quit watching these types of shows because these celebrities think we want to hear what they have to say. BTW, this is nothing against Meryl Streep. I personally think she got robbed of an Oscar portraying Julia Child in "Julie and Julia".

I don't understand why people get worked up over what a celebrity has to say about anything. They have zero impact on my life.

@bgbird68 : I usually don't watch the Oscars unless Whoopie or Ellen is hosting, but I especially won't be watching this year because it will be a night of pompous "Meryls" spouting about Obama/Trump.

Trump likes the spot light so every time someone spouts off about him and his ways. brings him right to the top again. I don't know about you but to talk down about Trump and still live here in the United states isn't that like slamming the door in your own face.I hope he never gets to be like some and start dragging people out who wrong him. Remember he has the highest place in office.
