It is more noticeable here today too. Yesterday started out this way but the winds shifted about 11am and that really helped. Hope that happens again today.

@HipKat2000 : How so (or were you being sarcastic )? I have an outdoor PM2.5 and the 24hr average spiked at 40ppm (Moderate to Unhealthy for Sensitive) 7am yesterday. Right now we're 18ppm (Good to Moderate). Outside VOCs are at 175ppm, but dropped to 50ppm last night but have been daytime spiking. Monday was the worst at 1,100ppm and yesterday was 790ppm.

Last night (Thur 6-15) was the first night that I honestly noticed the haze hanging and could smell it in the air taking out the trash. The PM2.5 only logged 45ppm and 900ppb VOCs, so it must have been the the temperature inversion coming off that 92 degree day into a 52 degree morning?Not as smoky Friday, tracking weekend storm chances

We spent a couple days in central Wisconsin last week. The smoke was terrible. By the time I got our luggage into the hotel room, I had to use my rescue inhaler. There were spots in the state where the visibility was little more than a mile.

Not good out there. Today's PM2.5 peaked at 238.
