#msg1962951I actually think the only reason people are against Flock cameras is because of the increase in reporting and finding out the number of LE abusing it and using it against friends and family members. As soon as someone against Flock has a crime committed against them, (car stolen, kidnapping, burglary, etc.), you know they'll demand police use Flock to quickly find the suspect. My opinion and mine alone.

DennisinPeoria : Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

What are the odds of those crimes happening? And even if my car were stolen, I'd file a police report and insurance claim.

where I live, the mayor had them all covered up. She's been under fire for so many issues that I wonder if this was to appease the peasants in hopes we forget all the other unilateral decisions she has made and won't respond to public inquiries.

FWIW, a recent Peoria County Sheriff's report indicates the arrest of a man who battered the mother of his child, kidnapped their child, and drove away. The police found him in East Peoria and arrested him. How was he found so quickly?
Flock Cameras.

DennisinPeoria :
It still doesn't erase taking rights away from innocent people. It's like saying you think every sobriety checkpoint means cops can search 100% of the cars even if there is no reason to think someone has a bag of dope in their car.
