This is truly interesting. From what I understand, if someone has a birth certificate and a passport from their home country, and establishes residency, they can obtain a valid driver's license. Now they have all the information needed to find each person.
Strangely enough, or not so strangely, they were hordes of ICE agents last week of at Fort Totten Metro stop one night last week. It is a stop where the red and green lines interchange. A couple of stops away, on each line, there is a Home Depot and Lowe's steps away from a Metro station. The thinking was that they were centralizing things to catch as many as they can from this stores. They used all that manpower for hours and only 2 people were caught.
AverageSue and DennisinPeoria reacted I talked to a person who has been here for 25 years has 2 children born here. I asked how he got here walked across the border. I asked did you go through the channels cost too much. Yet they feel its ok. Then when this happens.
A more recent post on FB showed them around the old CUB Foods on Knoxville

Possible ICE arrest caught on video from a bakery in Peoria North Valley. WMBD did a story on it, talked to an Immigration Project Director in Bloomington. But no response yet from DHS if it was their agents or not. Vests said "Police" and something else; 2 Black unmarked SUVs; suspect was compliant. Story not on web yet, however it will be on the WYZZ News after the World Series, and WMBD News at 10. (I was not involved in this story, but saw the videos) Edit: story link here:

WMBD's recent Facebook post comments are mostly pretty sick! My Hispanic neighbors are the ones who walk their kids to school and back. They work hard, their yards and homes are cared for. Glad this is 5th Saturday coming up and there is no pantry this week. Hoping ICE has moved on by Nov. 7th for our next pantry. www.centralillinoisp roud.com/news/local- news/immigration-pro ject-reports-in

Asking for papers showing that they have the right to be here. Breaking laws still require paying the price. Same for us we all pay for it.

If they have papers showing they have the right to be here, most likely they have the right to be here. Otherwise, they would not have the papers saying it.
If they have a driver's license, they know who they are. Just rounding up them who have crimes and who thinks the can break laws.
They've rounded up people with green cards, they've kidnapped US citizens. There is NO due process if only some get due process. FACTS. No spin, no lies. *Show me your papers*... Where have I heard that before??

On some cases. ICE claimed any green cards, VISA, or other immigrant documents to be fraudulent. I saw reports of that last year. So the person was detained and deported anyway.
Same thing happened to US citizens, where ICE claimed the birth certificates or SSN were fake. All so they could fill that quota of arrests, even if lawyers and family proved they were legit and the person was released. My opinion and mine alone and no one else.
