Looking for explanations!

I am looking for any and all explanations as to why this Trump administration is allowed to carry on with the chaos, corruption, and criminal activities. I have my theories. One is that those that have the power to stop the chaos, corruption and criminal activities are also involved in them, benefitting financially from those activities. The other theory is that the Epstein Files are bigger than we realize and the guilty are all protecting one another. The stock market manipulation is quite obvious and continues to benefit the wealthiest of Americans. If anyone continues to deny the chaos, corruption, and criminal activities they are either CORRUPT or STUPID!
( The current Republican administration is costing Americans BILLIONS of dollars every day, in so many different ways. Food, Clothing, Fuel, Energy, Transportation, Healthcare, Housing, Insurance, War, Trumps personal vanity projects, and many other ways.)

@CCubs : I think that is definitely part of it. But another aspect is that the much of expectation of being morally good or law abiding within government workers from low level workers to people with some power that we had in the 1990s has mostly disappeared. From the Bush administration to the end of the Obama administration the older workers have retired and the culture has shifted to obedience to your superior rather than being expected to do what is lawful or morally good. People simply do what they are told without questioning it. Potential whistle blowers, the news media, judges, and people in law enforcement who in the past would put a stop to such corruption have retired and the new generation does what they are told.

Regular citizens are far less likely to get involved in stopping such issues today compared to before the Obama administration. When was the last time you saw someone protesting a real issue, and not involved in some organization that gave them a sign or guided them with to put on a protest sign?

The TV news media is also very pro Trump, in a very deceptive way. They could ruin Trump in a week if they wanted to. They always focus on vague issues where it is not really clear which side is right, and there is the usual black out over real issues. When has the regular TV news gone in to how much money was spent STARTING with the Trump administration with COVID-19 as the excuse and continuing in to the Biden administration, and how much waste and inflation resulted from that? They won't talk about it. Did they go in to the history of how Trumps tariffs are totally socialist and the highest the USA has seen in over 100 years, and how small businesses suffer from it? Of course not.

I believe a big part of this is that the US federal government is largely under the control of huge corporations that can easily donate millions and they keep nearly everyone in Congress under their control. It has been this way for a long time, but now it is in your face more than ever. If they don't want Trump impeached or some corruption investigated, they'll tell their senators to leave it alone. The silent majority is been taken in by Socialist Democrat Trump and are now supporting many of the things they traditionally opposed. There is also now massive fraud in the primary elections, which is done to ensure that both the Republican and Democrat candidates for any federal position are controlled.

Generally the government is more concerned about upsetting Conservative Christians who are typically Republican. But now that Democrat Trump has helped turn them around to support the things they normally oppose, that group is mostly out of the way for the time being.

How many people do you know who are independent and believe that both parties are corrupt? It's usually very few, something like under 5%. So you really have under 5% of the people who can actually address the corruption with a workable solution. The rest are always caught up in trying to get the other side elected to end the corruption and the problems, never accepting that they're really the same group of people. People are more divided in to Democrat and Republican than ever before, and so people are less effective than ever.

We need to abolish the two political parties. ------
Campaign contributions need to end, or at least have limitations, with serious consequences for disobeying. ------
Get rid of the electoral college vote, and go with the popular vote. -----
Age limits and term limits are needed for ALL politicians. -----
Intentionally lying to the press needs to be exposed and reprimanded. -----
Politicians need to be held to a higher standard of ethics. -----
Politicians earnings as a politician should be transparent and exposed for all to see. -----
NO MORE EXCUSES and/or PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT.

@CCubs : This applies to good politicians as well as the bad ones. With a vastly greater supply of bad politicians, any good politician will almost certainly get replaced with a bad one at the end of their term.

Edit: While you're at it, why not just ban bad politicians? See it's not so easy.

I've said several times that both parties are responsible and I tend to be devil's advocate a lot. It goes back to the right and wrong argument. Who's right and who's wrong? Both parties are right in their own eyes and the other party's always wrong. I wonder how many $billions$ have been spent on one party correcting the"wrongs" of the other party? Hopefully our next president will be somewhere in the middle and not so far to the left or to the right that they're going to fall off the edge of a cliff.

Donald Trump is a convicted felon and child rapist. That's the "wrong" here.
