Is anyone not surprised by this?

apnews.com/article/i srael-netanyahu-us-t rump-iran-war-223017 8d2cd4aa6b96e3e
Excerpt:
"JERUSALEM (AP) - Israel's latest strikes on Lebanon and Iran have made clear that U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who started the war in lockstep, want different things.

Trump had publicly warned Israel not to strike Beirut in its war with Iran-backed Hezbollah militants. When it did, on Sunday, Iran responded by firing ballistic missiles at Israel for the first time since the April ceasefire. Israel then struck Iran, with which Trump has been engaged in weeks of high-stakes negotiations.

The fighting has since died down, but the differences between the two leaders are likely to persist. "

So either Benji or Donny-Boy goaded the other to attack Iran at the outset, because they were allegedly "this close" to having a nuclear weapon, despite US military taking out and burying their uranium months ago (which Donny-Boy uses as a constant talking point these days)

And now, Israel is telling the US to GTFO of their business in their continued attacks on Lebanon and Hezbollah...a factor that Iran is using as a reason to not negotiate on any deals involving ending the war (Oops, it's an Operation!), ending the US blockade, and opening the Strait of Hormuz.

Guessing Americans will have to borrow or use up their savings for continuous price increases for gas, energy, and groceries until a new Congress is seated in January.
It might not be much of a fun summer or Merry Christmas this year.

As usual, it's my opinion and mine alone and not my employer's.

Detailed plans are being drawn up to open the Strait of Hormuz by force if it needed. It is Trumps last resort but one that increasingly likely.

In Israel, since Tump said Netanyahu does what he says, Netanyahu is having increasingly deeper political trouble in Israel. The opposition has been running ads on Israeli tv with film clips of Trump saying it. The results are causing major political turmoil for Netanyahu.

Guess the "Ceasefire" is over, although those in the White House will deny it.
I say, the war is back on. Say goodbye to any hopes of a peace deal...and hopes of prices dropping.

@DennisinPeoria:
If Iran could drag and stall Carter for over a year, what makes Tump think that Iran won't stall until after the midterms?

I don't understand how the US and Iran 'trade attacks' if Iran's military has been obliterated several times. 🤔

Supposedly we're closer than ever to a deal to end this "War" or "Operation". Just need to get signatures from Iranian leadership and the President. They also need to get Benji to sign off saying he won't attack Lebanon and Hezbollah if he wakes up one morning and feels like doing it.

My concern is if the President will do an about face because there be some minor detail that he'll decide to oppose, and if Iran doesn't change it or agree to something else, he'll threaten them for the umpteenth time to blow them up. So that the stocks and oil prices will benefit his billionaire friends who can afford to swoop in and buy reduced prices on stocks and oil futures.

We'll just ad this to the list of war crimes committed by the US. We should all be proud. NOT!

Understanding the timing of what is unfolding helps reveal what world powers are aiming for. The leaders who represent each country today-whether called kings, presidents, or other titles-hold positions of influence. What's happening has not yet reached its peak, but watching events unfold can offer better insight into what's to come.
