Doonesbury takes a funny satire poke how things kept changing in fighting Iran since it started. www.gocomics.com/doo nesbury
Now he says Iran gave him a "concept" of the deal. You can't make this **** up.

@mypeez :
It could be that with no war and oil prices at $65, raising interest rates would be necessary to maintain the value of the Dollar, which would trigger a recession, and stock prices would fall, and lots of people would be upset, and people would have a harder time buying gasoline at $2.85 while unemployed than they are now at at $4.80. I'm not saying it's right to keep the bubble growing, but this could be the reality. 4% of the world's population using 25% of the world's resources isn't fair to the rest of the world.

In my opinion and mine alone, and no one else, the only time the President decides to do something if interest rates aren't good, stocks are falling, or oil prices are unstable, is if his billionaire friends call him up to complain. Then he acts.
So, is the war over, or not? Conflicting statements from the President and Iran. Or is it hypocrisy on his part? fortune.com/2026/05/ 01/trump-white-house -argues-iran-war-is- over-because-of apnews.com/article/i ran-us-war-ceasefire -negotiations-strait -9317c11e51ba8d My opinion and mine alone and not my employer's.
Is a naval blockade an act of war? If the USA was the subject of the blockade it would be.

Trump said that we were no longer "at war." But, I see that Iran fired on American ships, and America retaliated. That seems like "war" to me. It definitely isn't a ceasefire.

We'll get half truths or denials from the WH, but to me, the ceasefire is over, and the war is back on.

Iran has 24 hours to surrender. If they don't, then they have 2 weeks.
