Gardening

"Gardening posts here have slowed down a bit and I'm tired of politics, so trying a non-political topic. I'm so impatient! I'm waiting and waiting for my chili peppers to come in... it's only been 4 weeks. My kale is growing nice. Next time I will buy more so I can harvest more. I harvested a little bit the other day and my son and I each got like one bite (cooked). The mint is growing well. My son wanted that one. My scallions are growing a bit slow for my liking. New to that one as well...."

Not zero... just lower. Social Security is a pay go system... the existing workers pay for retiree benefits. Have fun... see what works best . There are a lot of ideas... some smart accountants modelled that out. Here is a tool to model that out[/url..."

Shirt or no shirt?

"Shirt or no shirt? Finding thing that stand out. Your neighbor comes out one morning to mow the lawn. After a few hours the heat of the day arrives and takes off the shirt and keeps working. However, the cameras showed the person was just working, and the only exposure involved was taking off their shirt. Shirt or no shirt a law now days...."

Cellphone ban in schools...again?
posted: 1 week, 7 days ago by AntiRanchDrssng
"Cellphone ban in schools...again? The Illinois Senate passed the bipartisan plan to institute a statewide school cell phone ban Sunday. It now heads to the Governor's desk. So, if he signs it, do I call the police when my students are watching TikTok videos or checking out Peoria.com? I would give my students a lot of leeway to have phones out if they would just put them away when they are supposed to. I don't have laptops/streams in my room. I'm not going to gather them all to go to the library for a..."

"Morton Buildings is bigger than I realized. After seeing this office next to our hotel in Wyoming, I had to look it up. They employ somewhere between 1,000-3,000 people at over 100 retail offices and 7 manufacturing plants in 36 states. Not bad. https://www. peoria.com/message_board/ forumimgs/Peoria260601768 88649.jpg..."
