Anyone hear anything if this is going to take place this year? Usually they start advertising around mid-May. Haven't seen anything on Facebook or their webpage. Are they not going to do it due to Summerfest? If so, I hope they move it back to the open area between the Riverplex and the Gateway building. People were jammed in like sardines last year and there was just a little too much Devil's Lettuce smoke going 'round...."

"Now up to 4 buried communications utilities . i3broadband bought out by T-Mobile last year. Now Frontier by Verizon is putting in their own fiber along side T-Mobile. They're tearing up yards and I think they hit the gas line earlier today.
POTS, Comcast cable, T-Mobile fiber, and now Verizon fiber is 4 communications. Electric and gas makes 6. Water and sewer are deeper but that makes 8. It must be harder and harder to not hit an existing utility each time a new one is added.

Just yesterday I saw a TT about "spaghetti chicken". I was so grossed out that I had to share the video with my mom and son. ?
Well today I went to put 1.5 lbs of turkey breast in the oven and it was spaghetti'd. ? I just got it yesterday and it's not expired but has a strong gamey smell. I just can't do it.
I'm looking into local-to-me butchers. Supermarket meats have gone downhill...."

"Since the old thread is locked due to no responses in 7 days, figured I would give an update. After the fall, I spent 3 days in the hospital and had a bunch of tests. As I was finishing up what appears to be successful treatment for lung cancer, a spot was was found on the left boob. Course of treatment yet to be determined. The best living American songwriters. I have no problem with it, with the exception of Randy Newman not being in the top ten. James Taylor is the weak link here, imo.
