Position Desired: Medical assistant

I am interested in a position where I can utilize my skills as a medical assistant and care for others. With my education I can perform a wide array of skills that would be essential to any physician's office. I have become proficient in phlebotomy while at my practicum at Glen Park Internal Medicine, performing over 200 successful sticks. I also used my medical assisting skills while at my practicum at OSFMG East Peoria. I learned many skills from the specialty office that I worked at last, Illinois Gastroenterology Institute. I worked under the direction of Dr. Scott Wu as his medical assistant, assisting with hemorrhoid ligation and cleaning g-tubes. I was also responsible for giving his patients the results of their procedure, i.e. colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, and x-rays.
