Morton Pottery Ceramic Turkeys


Offered for sale are these vintage Morton Pottery Turkeys. These are hard to find since they are a sought after local collectible; so, imagine my surprise when I came upon a whole box full! American Art Pottery such as this was popular in the 30's to 50's. These were sold at stores such as Grants, Kresge's (dime store), and Woolworth's. These turkeys were unmarked and Morton Pottery is identified by the shape and beige coloring. These stand 4.5" tall with no flaws or defects found on any of them. The price is per turkey and first buyer gets pick. All of these are hand painted with each turkey slightly or noticeably different than the next as shown.
