A Peoria man has been accused of keeping dogs in his basement for use as sex slaves.
Personnel at the Peoria County Animal Protection Services (PCAPS) told Peoria Police they received a call from a woman who accuses a 54-year-old man of raping dogs in the basement of his hme in the 2400 bock of West Antoinette. The woman said she was a guest in the home when she heard an animal screaming from the basement. The suspect's mother said that was her son in the basement raping a dog named "Velvet."
This reporting person told PCAPS that she has seen computer messages associated with the suspect that asked "how tight the dogs' ********* were" and "how tight Velvet's ***** is." There are supposedly online videos of the suspect raping the dogs. The suspect with uncooperative when PCAPS went to the home to investigate. PCAPS received a similar complaint against this subject in December 2014.
And the picture is so inappropriate. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. And finding this out sooner and doing something about it in 2014 could have saved this dog !!!!! What is wrong with you people ?????!!!!
What the hell????? The woman heard the poor dog and the mother even admitted what the thug was doing!!! There should b no investigation needed, go in arrest the sick POS and b done with it! The police don't care either. This probably isn't a matter of importance to them!! Castrate the thug!!! Just sick and disturbing to know there is even a decision to investigate!
The picture is absolutely inappropriate. It is not the distasteful news it is the image you allow your staff to post with it. Hard to believe that if this story was about a woman or child your picture would be that woman or child on its back with its legs open. This is ridiculous. Not to mention how misleading the title is. I have worked with and written for media and this is shameful behavior on behalf of Peoria.com.
Why was nothing done about this in 2014? Something better be done about this now, or this will be one heck of a story for National news! To think that Peoria Illinois would not properly investigate and respond to a complaint of this nature. I hope that this is taken seriously.
OK, I feel like I need to step in and clarify some things. Some of the comments above indicate that there may be some confusion about Peoria.com and the role we play here.
Peoria.com is a community site where people can come to find out information about the city: things to do, places to eat, where to shop, and discuss goings-on. Sometimes news stories (such as this one) from other sources are brought up here for discussion or commentary.
This site is NOT responsible for enforcing the law or local ordinances, nor do we dispatch crimefighters or safety personnel to emergencies on a regular basis. It is run and moderated by volunteers.
For those seeking updated information about this story, I suggest searching the local Peoria newspaper, www.pjstar.com or searching google using keywords from the story posted above.
I hope this clarifies any confusion as to why "we" have not responded to this story to your expectations, and helps you to better understand this web site's role in the community.
