Subliterates leave barely understandable note on vandalized car - Peoria

  • Someone threw a rock through the back window of a Chevy Cavalier in the Pierson Hills apartment complex. The owner thinks the intended target of the vandalism was her son because a note was left on the car stating "Next we cume in Ness." "Ness" is a nickname for her son.
  • A drunk woman claimed her boyfriend tossed her to the ground and kicked her. Cops took her to the hospital, and they found no evidence at the scene or on the woman indicating any fight or any abuse.
  • A man was shot in the stomach Sunday morning at a home in the 1300 block of West Kettelle.
  • A man told cops he was stabbed in the hand by his brother's girlfriend. Then, she left the home in the 300 block of East Nebraska with his brother to go to the Grand Hotel. The brother sells dope, by the way.
  • A man told cops that his disgruntled girlfriend picked a large rock and threw it at his car, which was parked in the 4000 block of North Brandywine.
  • A 37-year-old woman was arrested Saturday and charged with aggravated domestic battery and criminal damage to property and in the 900 block of South Blaine Avenue.
  • A 30-year-old man was arrested Sunday and charged with criminal damage to property in the 2700 block of West Forrest Hill.
  • A 52-year-old man was arrested Sunday and was charged with domestic battery at the Baymont Hotel, 2002 W. War Memorial.
  • Four men, ages 26-29, were arrested Sunday and charged with battery, criminal trespass to land and resisting arrest at Club Envy, 1412 SW Jefferson.
  • Two televisions, an XBox game console and a camcorder were stolen from a home in the 2900 block of West Antoinette Street.
  • She left her wallet on her table at McDonalds, 2205 N. Knoxville. She went right back to get it and it was gone and no one saw it. She's out $65.
  • Someone keyed the passenger side of a truck that was parked at Wal-Mart, 8915 N. Allen Road. About $1,500 in damages were claimed.
  • Someone broke into a home in the 1800 block of West Bel Aire and possibly stole some jewelry.
  • A 38-year-old man was arrested Saturday and charged with retail theft and criminal trespass to land in the 800 block of North Sheridan.
  • A 70-year-old man was arrested Saturday and charged with battery in the 1000 block of East Seneca.
