  • Being no fool, she was fleeing an armed robbery at Popeye's Chicken, 1800 N. Knoxville, when she dropped her purse, spilling the contents. She then saw a man who had been sitting in the drive-thru scoop up her items and flee. She counted her cash later and discovered that $301 had been taken, leaving her with just $1 and an unresolved case of the munchies.
  • Her baby daddy showed up at a house in the 600 block of East Republic to jump her guy she currently is having sex. And the old sex partner threatened to shoot the new one, the lady said. The the new sex partner didn't want to press any charges or even talk to police. 
  • Someone broke into a home in the 2700 block of North Indiana to turn on the water in the basement. But the time they got the water shut off, there was a foot of standing water. The owner is serving a six month long invitation to the Peoria County Jail, and apparently, someone broke in just to turn on the water.
  • Someone smashed a window at a residence in the 1100 block of South Folkers, but because of two large dogs inside, the owner thinks nothing was taken.
  • A 27-year-old man was arrested Saturday at Club Purple, 500 Main St., and was charged with battery.
  • A 44-year-old man was arrested Saturday and was charged with domestic battery in the 2200 block of West Butler.
  • A 24-year-old man was arrested Saturday and was charged with two counts of aggravated battery and mob action at Club Envy, 1422 SW Jefferson.
  • Someone almost made it out of Wal-Mart, 8915 N. Allen Rd, with $256.20 worth of food.
  • Someone stole a orange jacket from Kohl's, 4100 W. Willow Knolls, valued at between $80 and $120. Orange?
  • A 25-year-old man was arrested Friday and charged with domestic battery in the 3500 block of North Brevis.
  • A 46-year-old man was arrested Friday and charged with criminal trespass to land, possession of cannabis and driving on a suspended or revoked license.
  • Some kids running through his backyard damaged a fence in the 600 block of West Armstrong.
  • A 21-year-old man was arrested Friday and charged with the retail theft of $26.18 worth of DVDs from Wal-Mart, 3315 N. University.
  • Her boyfriend slashed the tires on her car, which was parked in the 2100 block of North Peoria.
  • Someone broke into a home in the 1900 block of North Bigelow and stole two televisions.
