No Summer Camp

This news will be pleasing to some, maybe not to some who didn't mind it, or perhaps attended in the past.

No matter the issues the Camp brought in terms of police & medical needs, arrests for drugs and such, it was an economic boom to the City of Chillicothe, depending on which artists were performing.

I have friends locally who went every year. They didn't drive there every day, they camped. They quit going a few years ago because they felt the whole dynamic of the festival had changed and it had become poorly run.
I'm going to guess that the bands that were contracted to play will still get paid, but everyone else is going to get screwed.

Okay, where are the volunteer medical staff who enjoy donating their time? How many would give their time to make sure the show goes on?

I wonder if the show will be held on the riverfront. It seems like strong events are what bring money to the area. Those standing-room-only crowds really pack the house.
