It's with a mournful heart that I need to inform the Facebook friends of my beloved brother.
Unfortunately yesterday afternoon my big brother Billy unexpectedly passed away from what appears to be heart failure. He was a kind and generous man who never once betrayed anyone nor raised a hand in violence. Already he is dearly missed and will never be forgotten. Rest easy big bro.

Aw, that is really sad...he and I had worked together off and on for many years...He was always a nice guy, and always put his heart into his work. His reporting and blogging has been a consistent staple of my online world for so many years, he will be missed. Rest in peace, Peoria Blogfather.

Really sorry to hear this news. Billy brought a number of us together through the Blogger Bash, we laughed with him, argued with him, corrected his spelling, didn't always appreciate his "eye candy", but he will be missed. Hope he can find a free Wi-Fi hot spot and carry on. Rest in peace, Billy.

Just thinking about him yesterday when I stopped into Campustown starbucks where I used to see him somewhat regularly. RIP Billy!
