Colorado recently reached $1billion in sales. The way I see it, that's a billion that didn't go to drug cartels.

I bought an ounce last week here in Denver and it was $69/ounce with tax.I don't think Illinois legal weed will ever see those prices if there's a wholesale tax of $50/ounce.

@EyeintheSky An ounce will last me at least a couple of months nowadays. I use the pre-filled vape cartridges more often because it's much better on my lungs. Those cost $15 and up but, like the weed, there is a wide range of quality.

I also have a Key Badge in Colorado, which was issued by the state after conducting a background check. The badge allows me to work or manage recreational or medical marijuana shops and dispensaries.
