What does peoria pay?

It seems a little bit on the high side. I don't know how accurate the information is but I looked at several salary web sites and it shows several cities in Illinois pay their chiefs right around $100K; varying between $90k and $110K.

Woah hah hah!!!! 5 weeks vacation??? Okay let's hypothetically figure this: Let's say 2 weeks at Christmas/New Year's. One week this week, July the 4th. I think I'm being generous. Somebody tell me what I'm missing, because hey, there's so much crime in Washington!!!!My husband, who works for a very, very large company, gets 3 weeks vacation a year. Next year he gets 4.

I was getting 26 days a year paid vacay when I retired.
