Curious to hear your thoughts...

Are any of the forum members who a couple of weeks ago were wishing viral infection and death on the protesters who were largely peaceful and only wanting a haircut that they were willing to pay for going to wish the same thing on the protesters and looters (two separate groups) who have been active this past week after the death of George Floyd? I didn't see a lot of social distancing or preventative measures being taken.

I'll wait a few days to hear your answer. That will give me time to go back through the archives to identify exactly who it was and call you out individually if you don't have the gumption to answer. It's okay if you're not going to wish the same, just kindly explain what led you to choose the way you did.

I didn't wish death on anyone but I feel a protest to try to get some police officers to stop murdering people is more important than people protesting to be able to get a haircut.

I'm glad you didn't wish death on anyone. There were a few here who did.

I think the legit protests today are about a lot more than George Floyd and people murdering cops, although that is a problem and was the catalyst for this. The larger problem is the systemic racism, disenfranchisement and marginalization of the African American community. That does need to stop and I support the legitimate peaceful protesters in that effort.

The virus probably doesn't care the reason people are out protesting in close proximity to one another though.

Our state's positivity rate is hovering around 15% after being at a low of 9% Mid May. The deniers have gotten what they want. I don't understand the outrage. No one needs to say or do anything because, it appears, it's all ok.

Unless the bible stunt and such are meant to distract us. It looks like Mother Nature will handle this for us. It's always women who save the day.

I'm agreeing with you. You guys win. Go forth and spread. I'm not sure why you're worried about the protesters catching Covid...its hardly lethal. Statistically, they're more likely to die at the hand of a police office.

You won covid! Nothing to see here at all. Pay no attention to that silly old virus.

OliversMom : You are quite bold in your statements here for being a new member of the forum.

@pictureme2 : I like it...I am not a fan of wishy washy posts.

@pictureme2 : Are new members held to different standards than people that have been here longer? I'm pretty sure I've been here longer than you. Does that make my posts more meaningful than yours?

@leslie110 : Like it may be like a former recent member?

@ChefKevin : It is definitely possible but OliversMom created her account in August...I find it difficult (but not impossible) that a person would create two accounts within a few weeks of each other in case they get banned in the future.

@leslie110 : I know you like to flippantly reduce this to a haircut but how sad that you refuse to acknowledge all the people who have lost their incomes, their livelihoods, and their dreams.
