I disagreed with Claude's comments but if someone can't handle that perhaps they don't belong on the internet.

@leslie110 : I never down voted, I've never blocked anyone or flagged any comment. I read, form an opinion, then make a decision to comment. This morning was not my time to comment to any ****** comments like I was reading. I'm not scared of stupid comments on the internet (I've made plenty) it's why I keep coming back here.

@Whit : I did feel the need to comment and to vote down. I didn't flag and regret that I didn't.

@leslie110 : And maybe if one can not control their rage, they should sit back, take a breath, watch something mindless on YouTube, then come back and have a reasonable conversation. I know I get pretty worked up about 2nd Amendment rights and sometimes need to chug a vat of Chamomile tea before responding Emoticon

I saw an interesting tidbit on FB today. It was posted by someone who loves conspiracy theories, but I want to know if it is true. The original policeman who cuffed the guy appeared to be walking with him. Where did the ****** cop come from and why?

@leslie110 : I didn't have enough credits to down vote, my credits keep disappearing. I would have down voted every comment twice if it were within my credit rating.

MSNBC and others tonight played audio tapes of an EMT that was called to the scene. She is heard asking an officer 16 times to please allow her to take Floyd's pulse. As she asks over and over her voice gets more and more frantic. Things just seem to get worse and worse .

He was a perceived criminal detained. Excessive force? Video don't lie. Grateful to see new Chiefs response. Last week in Chicago - how many gun deaths? Outrage? Peeps. But hey....when a reason to loot arises...it's all good. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

@ChefKevin :
A store called 911 when someone was attempting forgery. Some reports said it was someone trying to pass a counterfeit $20 bill.Cop might be one of the ones that responded to the call at the store. However, that is not clear, Completely unclear if anyone was in fact trying to commit forgery or pass counterfeit money or who that person was. Next thing we see is Floyd is on the ground. Absolutely no doubt that more videos will surface.

Here is the video to which I was referring about the two different officers. I'm told it is outside footage of the store. The first bald officer looks like he is doing nothing wrong...he is behind Floyd and is walking him along. A bit later we see Floyd sitting down and the same officer assisting him up and leading out of the camera view. What caused killer cop to get involved and take over what seemed like a simple, uneventful arrest is what I'd like to know.

So people burn a city and vandalize everything. Great way to get a point across. Just a start more to come show it on TV so all can see. Now everyone wants a part of the action. Wait coming to a city near you. When police cant take care of problems the military will and people will not like it.

I condemn the actions of those police officers who kept Floyd down for (10?) minutes. If he was complaining about not being able to breathe, how is that resisting arrest?

I also condemn those who did rioting and burning businesses in retaliation for this terrible incident. I realize the anger, but community leaders need to come forward and have those who are angry to channel that anger into fruitful discussion to make change.
It's possible that some of those burned businesses provided jobs to some of the rioters or their family members.
Obviously, some folks take advantage of events like this as an excuse to loot. That's even more deplorable.

@DennisinMH : Somewhere I read where Floyd's family, through a statement issued through their attorney, has asked protestors to stop with the burning and looting.

So all of this will be remembered as Floyd's protest. He was such a good man gentle giant if I remember correctly. Protest brings JUSTICE.
