Wine question?
Good wines that are not bitter. With growing stomach pains I have found wine helps just the taste is killing me.

Less acidic (bitter): White Zinfandels, Blushes, Reislings, Ports, 'Ice Wine'.

Avoid: Merlot, Zinfandel (red), Cabernet, Chardonnays

It can matter what you are eating with what you are drinking.

@Mahkno : Thanks for the info. Its been a long time for me drinking alcohol but this seems to take away the pain. I usually drink a bottle 1/4 at a time after 6 pm.

Some people have taste buds that just are not conducive to drinking wine.

Thunderbird, Night train and Cisco are my go to's. As I've gotten older, I tend to only stick with the good stuff.

@collar : I was thinking MD 20/20 or maybe some 50/50.

I was looking for some red wine to help with my stomach problems.

@tntrecycling : Plain old Concord. The alcoholic version of Welch's grape juice. The Concord grape is low in acid and tannins.
