$3 Car Wash

What happened to our cheap car washes?
I stopped at the Allen Road location and discovered the cheapest wash there was $6. I liked the $3 car wash as it did a decent job on the car. After my $6 wash, it came out with lots of spots and unclean areas. When I left, is when I saw the name had changed to the place. Even for $6, if it did a good job, I would come back.....but after a minute sale on membership there (I can wash it every day if I want!), I was overall disappointed.

I drove by the Sterling location, as I was approaching, was happy to see $3 Car wash was still the name.....as I got closer, i saw that it wasnt $3 car wash, but actually 3 minute car wash. It was almost like they were bragging.....3 minutes! My girlfriend doesnt like when I brag about 3 minutes.

The new one on Knoxville changed to. I just go a little north and use the do-it-yourself car wash. For $1.50, I can do a pretty darn good job.

I'm guessing the Peoria ones raised the price to pay for the stormwater fee

Fullers on Sterling does sell a monthly pass for $20, so you can still get cheap washes

When I was driving east on War Memorial toward University today, I saw a sign for $3 car washes at the place on Meadowbrook.

The $3 Car Wash in CC has been open about 3 weeks or so. But someone on FB posted a bad review, saying their track tore up something under their car or bumper, and owners wouldn't do anything about it. I haven't tried it yet, usually go through the $3 Automatic wash across the street.
