@mypeez : Oh good to hear. I liked the first season, the second season was a bust for me. I have it recorded and I have HBO so I hope to catch up this weekend.
Thank you for your review!

I'm enjoying the new season of True Detective.

I need to give Man in the High Castle a shot.

I watched The Passage but I can't tell yet whether I'm going to enjoy it. The first episode was OK.

There are a few shows I don't watch weekly but binge when I have time... Bar Rescue, The Profit, Great Food Truck Race, Masterchef, Hell's Kitchen, The Good Place.

As far as can't miss series on TV, Gotham - the best made TV show ever

@HipKat : I haven't missed an episode since it first came on. Sad to see this is the last season.

I'm also into the other Super hero type shows: Supergirl, The Flash, Black Lightning; Also the new thriller mystery Manifest. For sci-fi comedy, it's The Orville. And when it comes back in March (Hopefully), Agents of Shield.

I have quite a few TV shows (mainly crime/drama) in my que, Antique Roadshow, and PBS just started Victoria. I'm waiting for Netflix and the Crown. I'm a 17th - 20th Century history junkie!

I've been re-watching the Bourne trilogy

@cjsummers : Some of my all time favorite movies. And there has always been something about Julia Stiles....

mypeez : The Wallander novels are by a Swedish author, so the Swedish adaptation just feels more authentic to me. I thought the BBC/Branagh version was a bit darker-he was much more brooding than the Swedish version. I generally like Branagh, but in this case I'd recommend the Henrikkson version. On the other hand, some people don't like subtitles, so weigh that as well.

@cjsummers : Thanks for the review, I'll probably start with the BBC version because of the subtitles. On a somewhat related topic, I managed to watch Solider of Orange in subtitles, an early Paul Verhoeven film with an upcoming Rutger Hauer.

@DennisinMH : I haven't either. It IS sad. Watching the characters develop over the years has been fantastic

Fortitude is a British show I just finished watching recently. 2 full seasons and a short, 4 episode, season 3.

S1 has Stanley Tucci. S2+3 is Dennis Quaid. It takes place in a fictional town in Iceland with 700 residents and 3000 polar bears. A frozen wooly mammoth is found with a parasite that causes the infected to commit acts of extreme violence.

S1 and S2 are on Amazon Prime.

My husband and I watch The Pickers, Storage Wars, Pawn Stars, Barrett-Jackson Car Auctions, any show that revamps vehicles, Ray Donovan, and more. But, those are our mainstays.
