October 15th - two events - one sponsored by Alpha Phi Alpha is hosting a Fatherhood breakfast at Trewyn school at 9 AM and Peoria Promise is having their annual EVENT that evening. Both events are worthy of support. Hopefully more students step up and fulfill the opportunity that exists through Peoria Promise. With that success, sustainable funding will follow.
The Peoria Promise event is a Motown extravaganza. Donations can know be made through United Way. Peoria DOES provide a solid educatutional opportunity. Here's hoping that becomes the legacy of D150 - er - PPS.
