The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. It's a little bit of WWII history mixed in with a fictional story. I don't usually read these kinds of books but my brother--a WWII history buff and a 5th grade teacher--turned me on to it. I can't put it down.

I need to check that out. If you haven't already been there, St. Charles Mo. Has a great museum by the river.

I have been going back through books that I had read a long time ago... 'cuz wanted to refresh my memory.

Ruth Stout's No Work Garden Book and
The Rodale Book of Composting.

I also just picked up Cathy Johnson's Artist Journal Workshop, recommended by a friend whose journal is very nice.
