Trump wussed out...

Another big talker...Trump backed out of debating Bernie. There goes $10 million for "women's health issues or something".

I wonder how he is such a successful negotiator when he has to back track on a lot of his comments.

A debate with Drumpf would give Senator Sanders way more TV/media attention than Drumpf or Secretary Clinton want him to have.

I've noticed that Elizabeth Warren has been pointedly addressing Drumpf's BS lately....could this be the beginning of a Clinton/Warren ticket?? @Billybob?

@Rixblix

The challenge with Warren taking any job is that there is a republican governor in MA and that could impact Warrens replacement in the senate. The democrats do not want another Scott Brown kind of surprise in a special election. Howver, this time around the democrats have the former governor available so that does help.

There are some senate races that clearly show the republicans trailing especially in Wisconsin. So much so that the republican party might have to write them off and devote their resources elsewhere. Illinois is another one.

The odds still favor Warren as Sec. of Treasury. If not that she will most certainly move up through the ranks in democratic senate leadeship.

There are a lot of people around who think a Clinton/Warren ticket is too much emphasis from the NE and from states that are already easily democratic and so her potential gains are somewhat muted.

Trump is chewing up Fauxahontus and spitting her out. At this point she's pretty much the butt of a joke.

@billybob But hooking her wagon to Warren makes Clinton much more palatable to Bernie supporters. And the Democratic party has to see they'll implode like the GOP without those voters. At least it seems that way to me!

Whatever happens, I know for sure the two new voters in my house will talk about the first presidential election they were old enough to vote in when they're old and grey.

No she isn't. It seems like Trump doesn't like people who succeeded without a huge inheritance from their millionaire parents.

Just because the crowd may agree doesn't mean they are right. If they did that would mean Bernie was right, right?

Down the road there might be a presidential ticket of Feingold/Warren. Now there is a geographically balanced ticket.

@leslie110 :

Elizabeth Warren's success is based on fraudulent claims of minority status. This will be discussed at length if she becomes the VP candidate. And yes, Scott Brown did bring it up, but Trump will hit a homer with it. He will stir the embers of every parent who ever received a rejection letter from their snowflakes preferred college. There is no evidence that she benefited from her statement. Also...I tell people that I am part Cherokee because I was told that I am. Am I a fraud?

I agree, Leslie. I was told I'm part Irish, Scottish, English and French Canadian. I don't have proof, and have been saying that all my life.

Also, the Native American story has been played out already. Those that like her aren't going to change their minds because of a name-calling loud-mouth. I actually like her more now than I did back 4-5 years ago.i thought of her as the female version of Gov Patrick.

@leslie110 "There is no evidence that she benefited from this fraudulent claim...".

That reminds me of the line in Stripes where Bill Murray when asked if ever convicted of a crime he responds "Convicted? No." Emoticon

Also, Les, I've known you for a good five years and never once have I ever heard you claim you're a Cherokee... Emoticon Emoticon

Also, did you ever check "minority" status on a job application or College admission application? Hope we don't have our very own PDC Fauxahontus-Gate. Emoticon
