Nail salon
Daughtie and I are wanting to do Mani-pedis to celebrate the end of school. Any suggestions for nail salons?

Don't come to the new place in Chilli this weekend....you'll get pulled over. It's a gauntlet out there. Emoticon

@JnJ. Nail Images in East Peoria on Spingfield Rd. The owner Lindsey is awesome! She is a high school friend and introduced me to Dave.

I like Mai (May) at Amy's Place off Camp street (next to IHOP) in East Peoria. I like getting a design and she's great with very small nail brushes.

Depends upon what you want... cheap but nice Vietnamese salon or a high end spa type treatment....

I go to Amy's in East Peoria or Fancy Nails in Morton for cheap.

I would go to Corpo Bello on Candletree in Peoria for something nicer.

I tried Betty's (don't let the name fool you - it is a Vietnamese salon) and it was pretty good. Very clean, attentive, beverage (including wine) and snacks offered and several different "levels" of treatment. Located in what I think was an old adult bookstore (which if that's what it was it is completely remodeled) on Pioneer Parkway by OSF offices and across from Goodwill, in front of the plaza with the blue roofs.
