Big disappointments

Hate adding a downer thread, but it may have some funny stories.

I've had two Cohiba Cuban cigars in my life. What is the big deal; they weren't that great. Is it because they are illegal in this country?

Jamaican Blue Mountain and Kona coffees. Two of the most expensive coffees in the world. Ok, I've only had JBM brought back, but had several Konas while in Hawaii. I'm not saying they sucked, just not to my taste or was expecting more due to the hype.

I saw Rocky Horror Picture Show DECADES ago in the theater.

Between all the people yelling and toast, water, toilet paper, etc, being thrown everywhere, to this day I have no idea what the movie is about.

Call me names, but the movie sucks. (And those who "like it" seem to know no more than to be able to sing "Time Warp". Spare me!)

My BIGGEST at the moment is a group that is suppose to be about teaching children about being respectful adults. Its turning out to be a bunch of power hungry adults just running the show pretending to let the kids be in-charge. We were summoned yesterday at noon to a meeting this morning at 10:15 no thought about asking us if this would work. You know being a Sunday morning and all.

Every scary movie made in the last two decades. Even the seemingly good ones end stupidly. Babadook is one--great psychological thriller only to end on a really stupid note.

Rocky Horror -- I don't think it's really SUPPOSED to be a good movie. The opening theme sort of backs up the idea that it's a spoof/tribute to all the really bad B-Movies of a certain era.

2001: I thought it was interesting, but I totally got lost when it came to the ending. I looked up stuff about it so I could try to figure out what I was watching with the whole "star child" thing and it still to this day doesn't make sense. I wonder if many people got it back then?
