Whaaa....no one loves the city government, the big yellow god, the smell of ADM in the morning, Asian carp, the *** end of Walmart facing our downtown, our historic landmarks falling apart, the empty CUBS food building and the HRA tax? Emoticon

1. All the hiking trails
2. Some good, solid independent restaurants
3. WORLD class musicians who play around town frequently
4, The Spirit of Peoria
5. It doesn't take that long to get anywhere
6. PDC (not talking about the garbage company)
7. The view from Grandview and coming down the hill from EP and seeing the skyline.
8. The Blues Festival and Oktoberfest on the Riverfront
9. UFS
10. It now has two breweries
11. All the cool architecture of the older homes
12. and I know it is the Heights, but that frikkin' water tower is the bomb. I'd like to take a lawn chair, a six pack of Sammy Octoberfest and a couple of brats up there and just soak it all in once the leaves start to change.
