There are cars getting car washes WAY cleaner than ours!

Got my car washed there Saturday and was very impressed.
Best car wash I have gotten for a long time.
Free wash until end of September.
Code is quite visible under the keypad.
Another reason I am loving the new HyVee.

FWIW, there are actually 2 different car wash systems at the HyVee.

The left 2 bays have the spray-only "Laser Wash". The right 2 bays have a brush system overhead and sides, plus 2 wheel-only brushes that sense the wheels and "clamp on" to scrub the wheels

I went to the one with the rotating brush but it darn near broke my antenna off, so be mindful of that. It did a really nice job though. I can't see a brushless wash doing any better.

@Sophie :the brushes removed a few smudges that the spray left, and since my car doesn't have an external antenna, I kinda like the brushes.

But my wife likes her antenna topper, so she prefers the spray, and I can understand a picky car guy not wanting brushes touching the paint...

I think the spray side has an actual underbody spray while the brush side is side-only

Both washes result in a few drops of hard Peoria water dripping back onto the car, but I won't argue right now Emoticon

@QuispNQuake According to the signs, The current "free" wash will be $10
I think there are more basic washes for $6 and $8?

Is it better than the car wash in the plaza with Kroger on Sterling. They are building one like that on Knoxville near me. Really looking forward to it opening. The basic wash on Sterling is $3.

@RambleOn That's cheap and we don't have to drive another 5 miles.

Next to Three Reales where the old Lum's office was. I like that it blow dries the vehicle.
