The fishing derby came and went. It wasn't the easiest to host on crutches! But I managed. The weather was fabulous and the kids caught some fish. I was worried it'd be too quiet considering its end of season. It's been fished all summer.

I'm tired and my day's not done. Oy! Been on the go all week. Trip to UMass and a trip to NJ. I am hoping for a day of rest tomorrow.

I'm sure one of the mom's took pics. I'll post later!

a couple of pics... one is of two families enjoying the day. Ivan, the one in the foreground, did much better with his motor skills, reeling in. The other pic is of me at the Brailler, and my friend's pug, Princess.

Looks like it was a fun day for everyone.
Except you, LOL! Seriously, I know you put a lot of time and energy into it. I'm sure it was appreciated!

It didn't go as smooth as prior years, but nobody cared but me. You're own worst critic, as they say.

I Braille up the winners' award certificates, which I give to them along with their prizes, but I have to wait for the contest to end before I start those. Then everyone wants to chat when I'm trying to focus. The more distractions, the harder it is to do right. Those that help aren't always helping. Lol

Apple picking and pumpkin carving next! Yes, we do carving with the blind kids!
