Still working toward moving there. It's such a long process but will be great to be with my family. It's been unusually warm here and things are getting ready to bloom with buds already but will probably get frozen out with the last throes of winter.

It was 73 deg. Yesterday and almost as warm today but weatherman says we are due some colder weather coming in next week. We had an unusual snow last week of about 1 1/2 inches . Goes away quickly as the ground is warm. Just about everyone just holes up and stays inside as we have very little snow equipment in our city. Schools close and most people don't go to work unless in the Medical field etc. I have lived in Michigan also a good many years and know what dealing with snow is like. So I'll be happy to be with my family in Peoria when I get there.

So far our winter has not been bad. Now with that said watch out.
