Peoria doesn't seem big enough for both Five Guys and Smashburger, how are they even different? I never got the concept of Smashburger because isn't that the number one thing NOT to do when grilling a burger? Press it down so all the juice escapes?

You always find the best burgers where you least expect them. The other day I had one at Green Gables at Lake Bloomington. Awesome! And the ambiance was much better.

Wow !!!! That is a good looking burger. That's the kind of spot I love going to.

Penn station is a good spot.

I just cant go to a restaurant and buy a burger. Sorry that's not what I like love to cook my own burgers.

I've been to the Bloomington store about 3-4 times, always loved their burgers and fries. Never made it to the Peoria store, but my wife has been there. She said its location was to hard to get into and out of, though. At same time, I've been to 5 Guys twice, once for just a small cup of fries, but got half a bag instead! Yum!Closing stores not always good news, but there's only so many dollars available for eating out by the public.

@DennisinPeoria :That's the truth spending money and receiving quality food and service with cleanness. Many just don't want the hassle of going out.

@lanestar7 :By judging by the number of cars I see in their lot on University when I go to Hokkaido, apparently quite a few people think so.
