Perhaps a sign could be posted to remind people. Never been there but a neighbor takes his dog there and enjoys the place.

Isn't there a law about cleaning up after your dog in a public place?Even if there isn't, the considerate dog owners always take care of it.

All the dog parks where we have been have signs of the Rules posted right before entering. And picking up poo is one of the rules

Some of these are Bradley students. You would think that a student would know how to read. Its hard to clean up after a dog so they bring their dog here so they don't have to pick it up.

Yep 2 dogs here too. You are here,,,,, your dogs over there now go find 50 yards away. Not everyone can handle reaching down and picking up a pile of dog crap. Might be a pile of something else left.

Most dog parks even provide a bag dispenser, so there is no reason not to pick up after your dogs.

I live on a rail trail..I'm like 20 steps from it..signs all over for people to pick up their dogs poo..but do they ..no..heck a lot of them don't even keep their dogs on leash..they carry them..but let them off.. there's signs about that too..then they run and pee/pop in our yards..we can't put up fences due to the park owning so much of our yards.. sometimes, when cooking out..they run up onto our decks to see what food we are cooking..that's when I get into yelling matches at the owners.

@craftywoman : Back in '02 I got my left leg chomped by 2 pit bulls roaming our neighborhood. Yep, they had collars and tags. They wouldn't let go until I yelled at the top of my lungs for the neighbor across the street, whose house I was walking towards. Ever since then, when I see a dog off leash coming towards me, I yell loud and chase it away. I don't care how big, small, or what the owner says. Outside of designated areas, THERE ARE LEASH LAWS.

As a dog owner, I like to think that the good dog owners outnumber the bad dog owners.Even so, a few bad apple dog owners can create serious problems.

The number of piles of crap might say some thing different. I have never liked taking my dogs to the park because of those few who let their dogs run.
Don't say anything about them letting their dogs run. When you tell them that the dog should be on a leash they give you that they're not hurting any one.
