All of the above and more. The only good thing is that the days start getting longer right before Christmas and February is a short month all of which gets closer to the start of the baseball season.

Actually I like wearing big fleece sweaters and scarfs and boots.
I like mittens and gloves. I don't mind the cold or the snow, what I like the least is the lack of day light.
I hate when its dark out when I leave for work and dark out when I get home.

We see a lot of our neighbors and other family from April thru December, walking, running, riding bikes, social events. Once January and the cold weather has started, some of our family and friends move to their winter homes and others are not outside. Depressing. Thinking I should rent a condo down South from January thru March. One of my sons lives near Richmond, VA, my stepdaughter lives near Bradenton, FL, and, two of my SILs live in FL during the winter. I'd have plenty of people to visit down South for the first three months of the year. Hey, I think I just talked myself into it😀

@NoTime Do you still have to purchase over so many gallons of propane for them to come out. Purchase over $300.00 or more?

We do currently have a "levelized" monthly payment. They are supposed to check every month, but I'm not sure if they ever filled when the tank had more than 40% remaining. I think they prefer adding 250+ gallons at a time. (on a 500 gal tank)

That was the only thing bad about in the country living. Thanks for the update I still have some propane heaters that we use around when houses don't have heat and electric. I know to fill a tank for a grill is about $15.00 in the south end.

I've always liked winter but the wife and i honeymooned in Galena in February so that made it all the more special
