I have no problem with such in public spaces

Belgium was very, very reluctant to have it anywhere. Some say that is what led to some of the incidents there in the last year or so. In Paris, all the tourist areas and govt. buildings were totally covered and so an outlying part of Paris was chosen where there were far less cameras. In both places that has all changed. In this country, major urban areas, public areas and spaces are very well covered.

Whoever spies on me is going to die of boredom/beg to be reassigned before going mad. Both.

You folks miss the point if they are telling us they can do this better bet your last dollar they are way beyond that already. Most likely full remote access on ANY device no what you have installed to protect it. For phone the only thing going to stop it from spying on you is remove battery and have it in faraday cage.

Have been to Belgium. They pride their country as being extremely multicultural and letting people do their thing without much government intervention. So, I can see that they would probably be an easy target.
