Yeah, I speed, but it is about the only driving law I break (that I'm aware of). About a week ago, a little later than rush hour but still heavy traffic, some person was going 39 in the left lane heading west over the Murray Baker. It wasn't some beat up, old car that couldn't go any faster, either.
Back to the aforementioned speeding. I don't give a crap if you are going the speed limit, faster or slower in the left lane; you aren't supposed to be hanging out there. Illinois law. It should be posted on every overpass. If I'm driving 65, 75, 85 or whatever, I pass in the left and move back to the right. If the left is clear, I move over so those on the on ramp can merge without having to worry. Same with vehicles on the side of the road or emergency vehicles....move over, move back.
