Seen on FB posts blasting Pritzker for letting the Bears go. Hello, it was the Legislature that didn't get their act together.
I wanted to respond (but didn't because of the page posting) that someone should Google other teams that moved their franchises to another city because of the same reason (city/state not willing to put up $$$ for new stadium); and if a Republican or Democrat was Governor then, or mayor. Most recent example is the Oakland Athletics MLB team in process of moving to Las Vegas. Who failed to keep them there? I do feel the Bears just might reconsider if the State figures something out. But it has to be on a bipartisan basis, not just one party making all the rules.
My opinion and I'm sticking to it.

This not a done deal. Far from it, It has to be approved by the NFL. In addition, there are still talks going on in various locations in Illinois. There is also talks going on regarding a proposed location on the south side of Chicago.

@DennisinPeoria :
Indiana gave a lot more incentive than Illinois did. Why is the Governor willing to lose all the Revenue for tax issue. Work it out!!!Gray boxed for being political and/or controversial in a General Chat discussion.

The Bears would be foolish to pass on Indiana. This is a sweetheart deal. For decades the Chicago Park District has treated the Bears as just a tenet, they control all external revenue at Soldier Field. They control the skybox revenue down to the concessions. The business climate in Indiana is much better
