We lived across from them for years. They make the neighborhood smell so good all night long, and then you have to wait until 6:30 the next morning to get inside. Open everyday except Sundays & Mondays. Best coffee cakes in Illinois. Your coworkers will forgive your lateness, as long as you have 2 of these in hand.

I bought some of their cinnamon rolls, danish and new donuts. The cinn rolls are some of the best I have ever had, the danish were great, and the cream filled donuts were the best! Great service and smells included for free! This place puts the standard "fakery" in stores to shame.

In my opinion, this bakery is better than Apple's Bakery!! The cakes Trefzger's has are so moist and delicious! They have a nice moist crumb. The thumbprint cookies are what they are known for and are fabulous!

This is a Peoria institution. Try the chocolate coffee cake, cookies of all kinds, cream puffs, cream horns and eclairs. The prices are great. Be sure to pull a number if it's at all busy when you get there.

Wasnt sure about anyhting but the food lol. Someone brought in their danishes. The chocolate chip was to die for! Id love to have one again!

Trefzger's Bakery has been in Peoria forever ! It is awesome ! Over the years I have ordered birthday cakes, graduation cakes, you name it and they were so good ! All of their bakery items are out of this world !
