My prom group had reservations at 6:30 thinking we would make it to prom (or be just a few minutes late since it was in Washington) considering it started at 8. We all arrived on time, if not a little early. After about 25 minutes one of our group members had to walk to the kitchen to ask for someone to serve us. Finally they came to ask for our drink orders and gave us menus. A friend and I went to complain about things being slow to the manager (Nothing was ever done to speed things up the remainder of our time there) About 15 minutes after that we received our drinks (only about a third of our group had ordered drinks besides the water on the table) and finally got to make our food orders. At 815, an hour and 45 minutes after we got there we got our food and asked for our bills right away which took 10 minutes. A few people were making remarks about how we need to get to prom and one of the waitresses said "Well the group before you got here early, they were smart" followed by "We have a full house tonight and there are other people waiting for their food besides you too". Well I'm sorry lady, but we have reservations and we have first priority, and I think coming an hour and a half before prom is plenty smart. Then once we went to pay our bills, it took about 15 minutes to run through mine and one other person's debit card, I didn't know a quick swipe and a few buttons took that long. I was extremely disappointed and won't ever be returning there again.

Long story...
In 1960 I walked there with a note from my mother, along with her wedding rings. The note simply said something to the effect of, "Please help me feed my children. Keep my rings and i'll pay you next week."
"How many children?", asked the owner. "Eight", I answered.
They made 9 steak dinners with all the trimmings, drinks, etc., then drove me home. He gave my mom a hug, and handed her the rings.
I was 10 years old, and will never forget that day.

We had a great Valentine's Day meal here. The banquet rooms don't have the same ambiance as the regular dining areas, but the service was great, as were the steaks.

My wife asked the waitress which steak to order she said the filet would met in your mouth.
She was so right. OMG it was the best steak we have had in years.
The au Gratin potatoes were also very wonderful.

Lariat Club Steakhouse been around for along time and over the years I have always enjoyed going there ! The service is excellent and the food is always great !
