The food was decent but we had a horrible experience with the service. We got our meat undercooked and then burnt. The owner was rude. I will not recommend this place.

I've only had lunch (no dinner yet) at Jim's Bistro, but it's always been great. My standard is the beef eater sandwich, and I've never been disappointed.

The poor ventilation of this place sort of ruins it's charm. The smell of charring meat gets into your hair and clothes so don't wear anything that needs dry cleaning! We went about a year ago on a Friday about 7 and it was just us and another couple. Seven was packed across the street and I think our server was a little upset about that. When we revealed we just wanted a drink and an appetizer, she pretty much treated us like we weren't there. Not like she had anything else to but that hurried us right out the door and have never been back. If I want to smell like a steak, I'll just grill out on my own deck.

I enjoy the Bleu Burger there. I've had a few other dishes and they were good as well, but the Bleu Burger is still my favorite.

I went to Jim's Bistro a few years ago. It was FABULOUS! It truly was one of the best meals I have ever had. I had a filet and their au gratin potatoes. I went with a friend who footed the bill, so the value was definitely a 5 for me:) I usually don't spend much when I eat out, but would go there for sure if I was going out for something special. It was higher priced, but would be worth every penny at the same time. We had outstanding service too, with him being a regular that may have had something to do with it, but I don't know.
